Shopify lets you attach a single image to each product variant. Real products need more than that — a front shot, a back shot, a fabric close-up, a photo on a model.
Swatchfy lets you assign as many photos as you want to every option value, then filters your storefront gallery so shoppers only see the photos that match the variant they selected. The same option values can also be shown as color swatches or custom image swatches, on product pages and on collection pages.
Everything runs through a theme app extension, so your theme files are never modified.
Multiple photos per variant — assign an unlimited number of images to each option value, not just the one image Shopify allows.
Automatic gallery filtering — when a shopper picks a color, photos belonging to every other color are hidden from the gallery.
Color and image swatches — turn plain dropdowns and text buttons into solid color swatches, two-tone swatches, or swatches that use your own images.
Swatches on collection pages — show swatches on collection, search and other listing pages so shoppers see every color before they click.
Global swatch defaults — set a color once and it applies across your whole store; product-level swatches override it whenever you need an exception.
Sold-out and deleted variants — hide unavailable options automatically so shoppers never click a dead end.
Drag-and-drop setup — no code, no Liquid edits, no theme file changes.
